Pracadium — Pracadium for Counseling Programs & CACREP 2024 Compliance
About

We know clinical hours — because we've been tracking them for years.

Pracadium is built by the team behind LicenseTrail. We started with individual counselors logging licensure hours; now we're bringing that same clarity to counseling programs.

Before Pracadium, we built LicenseTrail — software that helps counselors, social workers, MFTs, and psychologists track the clinical hours they need for licensure. It maps direct, indirect, and supervision hours to each state's board requirements, flags mismatches early, and generates board-ready reports when it's time to apply.

Today, more than 1,000 counselors and associates use LicenseTrail every day. The pattern we kept seeing: hours weren't the hard part — getting them documented correctly, signed off, and exportable was.

Program directors and clinical coordinators told us the same story, just louder. They weren't tracking one person's log — they were running practicum and internship for entire cohorts, with spreadsheets, email threads, and tools that were never built for counseling. That's why we built Pracadium.

What we learned

Individual licensure tracking taught us what programs need.

Four lessons from thousands of hour logs — applied to the clinical side of a counseling program.

Hours only count when they're categorized correctly

On LicenseTrail, the most common licensure delays aren't missing hours — they're hours that don't match what the board expects. Programs face the same problem at scale: direct and indirect have to stay separated, all the way through practicum and internship.

Evidence has to hold up under review

Individual clinicians need board-ready exports. Programs need signed records, audit trails, and aggregates that reconcile — the kind of documentation a site visit actually asks for.

Simple tools get used; complex ones don't

LicenseTrail works because logging hours takes seconds and supervisors can approve without friction. We designed Pracadium with the same bar: students, site supervisors, and coordinators each get a focused view — not a maze.

The hard part is the field experience

Tracking hours for one person is manageable. Running practicum and internship for an entire cohort — across sites, supervisors, and accreditation cycles — is where programs lose weeks every year.

Why Pracadium

Programs need what individuals need — at cohort scale.

LicenseTrail solves hour tracking for one person on the path to licensure. Pracadium solves it for the program that trains them — practicum and internship placements, site supervisors, faculty oversight, evaluations, dispositions, and the accreditation evidence that has to be ready when the site visit comes.

Same domain expertise. Same obsession with getting direct vs. indirect right, keeping signatures on record, and making the export hold up. Different scope — built for program directors, clinical coordinators, and the people who run field experience day to day.

How we build

Three principles we don't compromise on.

Built for counseling, not retrofitted

Designed around clinical mental health counseling programs and the 2024 CACREP Standards — not a health-sciences platform with a counseling label slapped on.

Calm, simple, and actually used

If coordinators are rebuilding spreadsheets and chasing signatures, the tool failed. We optimize for adoption across every role in the program.

Your data stays yours

A dedicated, secure instance with full ownership and export. Your accreditation evidence belongs to your program — not to us.
